Navigate the map and apply filters (Ambition, Critical Need, Age, Charity, Country) to locate young people you wish to emPower
The “Future Leaders” function in the app allows you to navigate the map to locate young people based on where they reside. Upon clicking the “Future Leaders” button, the world map immediately populates with Future Leaders uploaded by our participating charities. A filter function is available to tailor your search based on ambition, critical need, age, charity, and country. While viewing a Future Leader’s profile, you have the option to follow, donate to specific causes (Opportunities, Critical Needs, College Fund), and even apply to be a mentor and work directly with the Future Leader’s charitable organization to take an active role in their progression. Follow the Future Leader and receive notification updates as they progress.

Browse through our 4 star participating charities and learn more about them through Charity Navigator
The “Charities Subscribed” button in the app immediately directs you to the list of our 4 star participating charities. You can click on any charity to review further details, including visiting the respective charity’s Charity Navigator specific page to review their detailed statistics. If you locate a specific charity you wish to support, you have the option to find “Future Leaders” from the charity detail page, which will take you to the map populated with only young people uploaded by your chosen charity.

Rest assured that you know exactly who you are working with, where your funds are going, and what is taking place
We do not take any amount from your donation. We simply provide the platform for you to donate directly to your chosen Future Leader’s cause through the respective charity. All participating charities have achieved the coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. App features include Charity Navigator’s overall score displayed for each charity, and a link providing further details ranging from percentage of donations that go directly to the charity’s causes to most recently filed income statements. All information needed for you to evaluate your comfort is at the tip of your finger. Finally, a prerequisite to uploading a Future Leader for any charity is opening a specific PayPal account for the benefit of the Future Leader. That means all funds donated to any Future Leader will go directly for the benefit of the Future Leader in the manner that you choose. All donations are tracked. Donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt directly from the charity.

Donate to and/or help tailor specific opportunities created to help your Future Leader explore their ambition
Mentors and Charities work together to tailor specific opportunities to help Future Leaders explore their ambitions. Opportunities can range from yearly school supplies to rigorous summer programs at established universities dedicated to qualified applicants. Charity representatives (Advocates) and Mentors have access to the app’s “Resource Center”, which serves as a tool to search all opportunities created within the app amongst all Future Leaders. These tailored opportunities are key in equipping Future Leaders with the tools needed to succeed.

Donate to help your Future Leader overcome their dire condition
Future Leaders with a Critical Need are relying on your donations to dramatically improve their quality of life, and in some cases, allow them to continue living. Donating to a Future Leader’s Critical Need is the easiest way to make an immediate impact to the Future Leader’s life.

Donate to and/or help tailor a specific educational path that your Future Leader can benefit from
Mentors and Charities work together to tailor educational paths best suited for their Future Leaders. The “College Fund” section of the Future Leader’s profile provides the description of the path and gives you the opportunity to donate directly. If you believe you have the experience and ability to provide key insight into a Future Leader’s educational path (e.g., you are a Human Rights Attorney and the Future Leader’s ambition is to become an Advocate), we encourage you to apply to be the Future Leader’s Mentor.
